Shamanic Cord Cutting

"Etheric energetic cords, are invisible to the naked eye, however, they exist. A tangible example would be an umbilical cord between a mother and child that also carry the genetics of the father. The child is energetically connected to the father, while living in the womb. Even though the physical cord is cut at birth, the unseen ethereal energy cords remain with the child and parents.

We also create energy etheric cords with our thoughts, emotions, desires, and agreements. They can exist between us with people, places and objects. Some cord connections are healthy and necessary, like our connection to Source and nature. Unhealthy attachments to people or patterns are ones that pull us back into old behaviors or keep us stagnant or in repeating looping ones. Sometimes we are in denial about them and want to keep old behaviors, relationships or objects, and we just pretty them up with spirituality while trying to hide them. These are cords based on our own private internal beliefs and agreements to ourselves.

Many cultures have different rituals or ceremonies for cutting these cords. This shamanic ceremony, as with all others, requires your participation. It is not passive at all. Your honest heartfelt intention to cut them and willingness to keep yourself free of them is necessary.
