Service Description
Help your employees stay healthy and balanced while at work. Whether you sit at a desk, drive a car, work on a computer or are on your feet all day, periodic yoga throughout the day can help keep the mind and body feeling at ease and in balance. Long periods of sitting, standing and typing can put added stress on the body often resulting in tight muscles, stiff neck and shoulders, brain fog, back pain, mental stress, sensory overload, fatigue, eye strain and joint pain. Schedule a session for your staff members: DE-Stress your Employees and bring them to the studio for a private group yoga session! Show your employees their physical and mental health is important and treat them to a mid day (or end of the workday) yoga practice! Step away from the office, computers and multitasking and bring them to the studio for a private zenful experience to recalibrate. Schedule a learning session at your business: Learn about the effects of sitting at a desk, standing and sensory overload can have on the body and the mind. Then learn techniques and chair yoga stretches to help relieve stress and tension. Learn yoga that you can do while sitting at a desk, while on lunch breaks, in-between meetings and conference calls, yoga for your hands and feet, stretches while standing at the copier and before and after work. Learn breathing to help calm the mind, lift mood and tackle brain fog. Group prices are discussed upon booking and based on number of people and length of class.
Cancellation Policy
Students must cancel a minimum of 90 minutes before class. There are no refunds for events, trainings or workshops or if a yoga class is booked as a single session. If a students uses a class card or membership to book a class and cancels within the 90 minutes then that class will be added back onto their class card or membership. If a student signs up for a class and does not show up for the class or cancel within the 90 minute cancelation window they loose that class. There are no monetary refunds for classes, events, trainings, workshops, class cards or memberships. I agree and understand the following: The practice of yoga has certain hazards and risks and by which it requires physical exertion that may cause physical injury. I am participating in classes or workshops at Transform at Amy Bourque Yoga and I am aware of the physical risks involved with exercise and understand it is my personal responsibility to consult with my doctor regarding my participation. I have no medical conditions that I am aware of, which would prevent me from taking part in classes or workshops, and I assume responsibility for any risk or injury I may sustain as a result of my participation. In case that instructors provide physical adjustments, I understand that I have the option to opt-out by letting my instructor know my wish not have physical adjustments. I hereby release, waive, discharge and hold harmless the institution, its owner, instructors, staff, volunteers, affiliates, and partners from any and all liabilities arising from any untoward incident in my participation to any class, workshop, and relevant sessions which may result to injury, loss, damage, or death. I understand that it is my responsibility to find a pace that suits me. I declare that I am over 18 years of age and fully capable in giving my consent.
